What a great favor was done for the racers and spectators when BNI-SCTA hired you to be the Angel at Lands End.

You have done such a friendly job and will always be remembered as the first person related to the Salt events.

So... Happy, Happy, Happy birthday to you, Our Special Lady.

Have a wonderful birthday Lynda !

I remember the first time i came to Bonneville to race
and I was greeted by you at Lands End wearing my T-shirt.
Best welcome I could possibly ever have imagined !

Thanks so much dear !

Kind regards from
Lars

Some have red hats - Some have blue hats - but few where more hats than you, Lynda.

To Lynda, the ambassador -
Lynda, the traffic cop -
Lynda, the gracious host -
Lynda, the gatekeeper . . .

To Lynda, our friend . . .

Best Birthday Wishes!

Happy birthday, Lynda, from both Nancy (back home in Michigan) and me -- in Wendover.  Many happy returns of the day to you.

So - as I drove in on the interstate I looked over and I think I saw your trailer parked at Land's End.  That's a good sign.  Have you got any further information on the conditions?  Let us know, and stay tuned here in case you don't make it out there.  I'll try to visit the salt yet this afternoon or evening.

Happy birthday one more time.

Sorry for the hijack, Lynda, but I've gotta mention that the other night, when I was in the combination taco/ice cream shop, Stainless and JohnBoy walked in.  I noticed Stain less was looking some better and said something about it.  John referred to Stainless as the "man of steel".  All I could think of as a followup was "yeah, steel.  All corroded and rusty from exposure to the salt."

Back to you, young lady.
