I guess I hadn't thought of it this way, but Manta is right about the surface.  As witness:  Look around you when you're at the salt - and notice how many people are walking around barefoot.  And they're not dancing and racing to the car for shows, either.  The salt is cool.

Just don't have open sores on your feet.

Open sores, yeah. A few years ago, when I fell down, after about 30 minutes in the ambulance answering questions and being " observed" I asked the EMT's if they could please get the salt out of my azz. ouch!! They promptly did so. Great bunch of guys and gals!!

Sores are quick to heal after being on the salt.

If you get scuffed just get in the shower and scrub with a

washcloth and soap until it bleeds a lot.

I know. I've been there.

Ask Bret Kepner or Judy Amo.

Ask Sid about my Salt Scrapage during the Hellacious Storm in`92....I must have lost almost the proverbial `pound of flesh..`Being blown completely end over end while still holing on to a flipping Canopy was an experience......Now I try to roll stuff up before going down to the Starting Line :-P
