Gregg-
Never noticed you lived in Nashville. My in-laws live
between Nashville and Rocky Mount & my wife went
to RMHS. Stop on by sometime when you're rolling
through Winston Salem. The car is on the trailer and
we're ready to go.

Here is my photobucket link of some of today's bike and car tech inspection in Wilmington.

Weather was absolutely spectacular today! Around 80, no clouds, full sunshine.
I did not wear a hat so my bald noggin has a pretty good burn.....Could life be any worse?......Naaaaa!  :-D
This is a full meet with 175 cars and bikes and they were still inspecting when I left around 04:30.
Can't wait for the racing tomorrow!

Couple of cars that caught my attention: a steam powered liner as well as Dennis Zainfeld's turbine powered liner.

As usual, I hope you enjoy the pics!

Here is my photobucket link of some of today's bike and cars in tech, staging lanes, start line and at the 3/4 mile.

Like yesterday, weather was again absolutely spectacular! Around 80 with full sunshine for most of the day.

Racing was spectacular as well! Quite a number of bikes over 200 with the best of 243. There were also several cars over 200 as well.
Sean Motes in his BAD A$$ Caddy went 186 for his best speed ever! Man I love that car!

Dennis Zanefeld's TIII liner went and "easy" 102 on it's maiden voyage and will crank it up a little more tomorrow.
Steam Liner had issues this morning on the starting line and did not run. Issues were fixed and was towed back to staging around 2:30. I left around 5:30 so I don't know if it ran or not. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST. Around 9:30, saw Rob, Brandon and crew coming up the return road with the Carbiliner. Pictures do not do justice for this car. It's an absolutely incredible work of art. Tech inspection for them ran REALLY slow and they didn't finish there till about 1:00 or later. Around 3:00 I saw them towing to staging. As I said earlier, I left around 5:30 so I don't know if they ran or not. I'll see them run tomorrow.
EDITED TO ADD: Many thanks to Joea and Sparky for the tires that let these guys get here!

As usual, I hope you enjoy the pics!

I see Rancheroman made the trip down - I love that truck . . .

Hope the weather holds, Gregg.  Tell Amy and Frank I say howdy.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Glen, Here are the pics that I got of the Steamcar:

And these are of Zanefeld's TIII:

I was there in Tech inspection and Turk told Dennis to take baby steps, hence his 102 today. Tomorrow he "should" step it up.

Here is a really crappy video I got of his 102 run:

Hope this is what you wanted,

I've heard that so many times throughout the years and that's another reason I do the pics!
See you guys tomorrow!
