What size/brand/AR is that? The first time I saw our 88mm Bullseye, I was blown away. Huge!

It's a 94 mm Garrett. I've got two main guys collaborating on my engine build, Gil Neverez is the tuner and he picked and secured the turbo. He's asked me to keep some of the specs to myself, because he asked that's what I will do.

Got the front suspension located in the chassis. I've got to get the engine in place just so I can see if putting the monster turbo anywhere in the engine compartment.



I'm running out of room in a truck. How do the streamliner guys do it?

Streamliners are a true practice in packaging! As for running out of room, we had that issue in the Camaro, too, as I'm sure many people have. Relocating all the moveable stuff (water/IC/fuel/oil tanks) to the bed will surely help in more ways than one. Even the turbo itself, if you figure out an oiling solution...

Progress is slow but I've been moving ahead with some tin work.

The engine is still moving ahead as time allows. Rods getting final cleaning before being assembled with the pistons and rings.



Don't have any pics of the rings being fit but they are gap-less and I was told it is a much longer process to fit them than a standard set of rings



After a lot of measuring a second set of main bearings were purchased that were under sized a bit to get the clearance Dan was after. Here is the crank just after it was set in hopefully for the last time.



Rods are getting torqued until the rod bolts stretch a specified amount.

The dampener was packaged with the dry sump stuff. Is there something about it I should know?

Stock rockers get upgraded shafts and bearings



Wanted to get rid of the script





Finished most of the floor and firewall



Set hot fill rod on my finger





Modified the stock column

Pedal and MC with a balance bar









Needed to make the hub surface of the rotor match the wheel mounting surface







Front brakes, bearings, steering arms, studs all done






Starting on the pipes soon.

Fantastic progress on a great build!  I've always had a soft spot in my heart for that generation of Dakota, as well.  I bought a brand new, black, 2WD extended cab in 1992... wish I would have never let it go.
