Malware
« on: September 16, 2013, 10:16:04 AM »
When I click on Chris's build I get a Chrome "malware" warning. Is anyone else getting it or is it just me?

Ron

If you're referring to Milwaukee Midget, I've had no problem.

Hmmm . . .

The only thing I can think of is that there ARE a lot of links on the build diary - perhaps that's what is causing the issue.

I don't think I'm under surveillance . . . but then, nobody ever does . . .

I'll pass this on to Bob Clancy.  Thanks for the wake up call.

Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on www.landracing.com.
Content from www.briansmodelcars.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.

What I get when I try to open page 218

Okay, using my magic keys that being a "Moderator" provides (right, like I know about moderation . . .), I deleted all reference to the above mentioned website.  I haven't had the problem, but let's see if that takes care of it.

I feel like a character in "The Scarlet Letter".

Bob, if there's something on my end that you think will help, drop me a PM.

Hi,

If you are running windows and are getting Malware, get the free version of Malwarebytes  http://www.malwarebytes.org/  and run a scan if will tell you if you're machine has it and you can get rid of it, also it will not interfere with your're antivirus. Malwarebytes free version will only run when you want to scan your system, the one that you pay for can run in the background like your antivirus goes, I don't know what the cost is.

Google chrome gives me a malware warning on page 220 not 221 yet. no problem  with IE.  Anyone who posted on page 220 should check for malware on their machine.
