It's been posted, however it's nice too hear the confirmation from you.

I'm interested in the lineup list, as that may get me off the fence about coming or not.

Hey,
If the salt cooperates the Barnyard Bearcat will be there, searching for that ever elusive wardrobe adjustment.  We're still in the trailer from the x'd WF.
Hope that tips your fence enuf.
Knapp
P.S.  BTW anyone know how we're (the salt) doin'?  I haven't heard any updates

Not that the sit on bikes are as important as the liners  , we even put down tools to watch some of the fast guys run
but Kim, Jim and i cannot attend the later date , work commitments , flights home and shipping arrangements had us running to a tight schedule as it was
Many tempting offers of storing our bikes so we could fly back for the Oct meeting , but it was just not possible

I want to thank the Cooks from all of us , they put in a huge effort to try and have a great course ready for the Sept  date , always positive even though the state of the salt and the high chance of rain must have been quite a worry

If they have room for a few motorbikes next year we will be there  :-D

Last i heard before leaving  Al and Jamie are still planning on riding ,  i am hoping conditions are great and the record smashing can begin

It was nice to see you all this year.  There were a few good days of racing, at least and you saw some pretty country while hiking.

We would be thrilled to buy one of the test spots.
I sent an email through the link on landspeedevents.com.
We blew up on the third run at Speedweek. We've rebuilt our engine, made a bunch of little changes, and really need data and an opportunity to test our car at 220+.

Thanks Mike!

Here it is, the Sunday before the start date of the postponed Shootout.  I've been watching the weather and while it isn't very warm, and sunny only some days -- it isn't raining either.  So maybe there'll be a Shootout after all.  I'd sure appreciate it if we'd get an update from Junior or his dad, though.

If I'm going to be there -- and I do plan to be if there is an event -- I need to leave home three days before things start.  1,900 miles don't go past the truck without a bunch of seat time, and doing a straight-through ride of such epic proportions isn't for me any more.  Inspection on the 6th, right, and racing 7 - 11 October?  That means leave home some time Thursday.  Let me know so I can start packing.  Thanks. :-D

Whadayamean, Freud?  I'm giving up special treatments when I have to leave Nancy at home while I'm going to Bville.  Thoe special treatments are what keeps me going while I'm out there.

Jon--That is too much information... :-D  PS; My daughter says Hi to Nancy...Caroline really enjoyed their time in the Sales Trailer at Speedweek. Also--it was good to see you and attend Salt Talks for the first time.Yes, it sometimes takes a while for me to filter these things through. I need more Special Treatments myself.... :-P

Nancy sends her howdy right back to Caroline -- and also "We'll see you again next year."

Thanks for attending Salt Talks, too.  Maybe we'll see you again, too.
