Cheap Shade Canopys,,
« on: August 15, 2013, 05:55:53 AM »
wanting to buy two 10'x10' canopys in Sparks Nevada,, will be making the mandatory stop over to check out the "performance goodies" in the Summit warehouse, and am aware of the Lowes store off the same exit/otherside on I80. Dose Lowes offer the cheapest  :? or is there somewhere else in that general area that i can purchase one  :?. Only looking for something cheap aszzz, if i cant find a good home to pass them on, thay will most likely end up in the dumpster after WOS,,,

you could try "Harbor Freight" located at 3800 Kietzke Ln. Reno about 5Mi. so of I-80 off 395.  They seem to allways have sale on canapies, tie downs. traps, etc.  Google it and look at their add. Chris

Look up and see if there is a "Big 5" in that area.
If you plan on pitching it, buy a "Shade tech" brand.
Might not last the week.
If there is a display model set up, look up and if you can define the store lights through the fabric, it won't really stop the UV.
That Co. makes real junk compared to "EZ up".
Typically the stores in Salt Lake put stuff on sale in July.
Also, see if there is a "Big Lots" on our route.

I recommend Harbor Freight as well if you are looking for some cheap ones you can throw away at the end of the event.

I have seen them for $25 or so at the Dollar Store in Wendover.

No guarantee on availability or durability.

The mesh works better than solid, They are black but cool under them, HF has them as well as tractor supply and most farm stores.   Shade for livestock, we have had the same ones for over 10 years.

Also less likely to become a giant kite with over 10 MPH breeze that is SO common on the salt.
