Just as nothin was happnin' Tegan Hammond just had a big spin at the 2.  She came fairly close to the access road and might have driven thru the Red Flame for a burger.  I wasn't following her with the camera, so when I got it, I just got shots of her gettin outta the car.

Glad to hear Ralph is going to be ok, he is a very accomplished motorcycle racer and I am sure he will get his bike fixed and be back quickly!

Audio feed is nice ....but...

I wish the announcers would say the make of car when it makes a run..
I know they try, but it is spotty.
Since the audience is not familiar with the names or car numbers, it would help.
Also, the SCTA results sheet need to have the car brand name too.

A big thank you for the live feed and posts out here. Great being able to hear it but can't compare to being there running a car. I'll be back.

Here's an update to the Tegan Hammond spin.  I shot this photo as they were loading the car onto the trailer...and she's right in there doin her part.  According to Bret Kepner, the first thing she said to the course worker who got there was, "does this qualify me for a Spin Pin?"  I guess she's a real racer for sure.

Thank you all.  I'm gonna make a blatant plea for donations direct to my primary website: http://www.chevyasylum.com/Welcome.html since I seem to be the only one posting ANYTHING from the salt.  I'll be back in the morning and we'll find out what's happened to whom and who does what.  I've gotta show up at Salt Talks for a while, but I'll post photos from impound and a coupla speed shots later this evening.

What I've done when the feed works is minimise the live feed page, then open the pre entry page from SCTA so I can floow by car numebr. STill doesn't cover all the info that would help us that don't know much. When the feed works I sure do enjoy it. Thanks to all connected with putting the event on and posting here.

Hey Joe A:  This one's for you.  :)

The only speed shots I got all day...the Vesco 444 and the Dauernheim-Biglow-Davis lakester.

Then a coupla shots of the #6501 Corvette that supports the Wounded Warrior project.  Good stuff!
