Thats the Strasburg -Wolf and ? lakester going after Freddy's 329 record.

Saw the Strasburgs at a recent NHRA meet run right up there with the best of them in their Top Fuel car :-o

Probably just feeling the car out, went to far and easy for a tune up run.

Hey Guys,

Couldn't come this year and was really bummed out and sitting here writing some stuff for a Client and having the streaming audio was a real nice deal for me. Surely many others feel the same way but wanted to say thanks to all who put the gig together. :-D

Thanks to Slim and Nancy as well.

Regards to All,
HB2 :-)

And a few more.  Then I'll edit some from various other locations, including one of a "park ranger" bust and another of a "Tucker Torpedo."

A park ranger making a bust.  I can only guess that the ATV wasn't licensed.  I stopped into the Subway to get a sandwich for dinner and there was a female ranger there.  I wanted to stop her and ask what they had against racers, but the bulletproof vest and the pistol in her holster (not to mention the unpleasant look on her face) dissuaded me from saying anything...I figgered that she out gunned me and I didn't think my press vest would match up to her vest.  :)

Three different takes on a roadster pickup.

And a "Tucker Torpedo."  Well, it looks like one.  It's a fiberglass replica with NOS chrome parts (or so I was told.)  I don't care for airbrushed rust...like at the lower corners of the doors...but that's just my opinion.

Thanks, Bill.  Here are a coupla Model A-engined critters in impound.  One of 'em is a sidewinder SOHC motor, the other a longitudinal-oriented DOHC motor.  Neither one  sounded anything like the Model A I own.  Some ossum engineering there.

Last one before crash and burn in the bed.

The Old Crow lakester team was discussing fuel mixture issues.

A couple of shots of Jeff Brock's iconic Buick.

And finally the Flat Cad 37 Chevy coupe with a huge aero device in the back.

More tomorrow.
