I'm at work and the "live" feed is not working. So, staying on step is important to me.   Yes ME!! I NEED MY BONNEVILLE FIX!!! Thanks guys for posting the runs.

Oh and the pictures too!!!!

It seems like Internet Explorer doesnt like the live feed. Try Firefox, Chrome, Safari... All work great for everyone who have used those browsers.

car 6969 Baracuda AABCGC.  2 1/4-185, 3-192, 4-208, didn't get a 5 mile time.  The record is 249 and they said he was going after his AA liscense which is 250.  This car is very nice and capable of much more.

JL...just think how fast it might have gone on skinny tires...

What is interesting about this whole debate is that the only car that has gone as fast in the first mile was the Leggit/Lindsay firebird that had skinny tires on it, but had twice the HP.

That is interesting for sure. Makes me think that maybe course condition makes more difference then anything else. The simple fact that 2x the power out accelerated wide tires on skinny tires says alot.... but at the same time you guys consistently accelerate fast but have a number of high speed spins under your belt. Seems like a car like yours would be a great test bed for comparing wide vs skinny on the same course under the same conditions but then one could argue car setup needs to change to work with the tires too..... :?

Thanks folks. Its my old roadster, sold it to Burl Brown out of Texas, great guy, great team. I am hoping all the best for them. I have talked with my friends and crew, we are in the beginning stages of building another roadster for the salt and Elmo. Just can't seem to be able to give up the salt or the many friends I have made over the years out there. I will update later, got some pretty good plans.

Don't think they have twice the power but do know they had a bunch more weight.

Lots of cars similar to ours, the Stroud car is similar but with more engine setback and the blow fish with more setback and streamlining. Both cars have spin problems also.
