How To Enter for World Finals ???
« on: August 04, 2013, 09:36:11 PM »
Hi,
I bummed up My hand and will not make it to Speed Week to Race My bike as expected but should be healed up by the time of the World Finals. I'm told if the Weather is good dureing that time it is a great time to race. I've looked on the SCTA site and searched and can find no information on Pre Entering or Entering at all? Anybody know the drill?

Unh, did you go to the SCTA-BNI website and go to the World Finals tab on the left side?  The SpeedWeek tab takes you to a entry/registration form and, without looking right now, I assume that the WF tab will do the same for you.

Generally they don't have anything on the finals until after SpeedWeek is over and everything is posted.  One event at a time keeps confusion down...

I just tried that- the button is presently "dead".

The link posted by Freud is to the SpeedWeek application.

Yes, I did Look at the SCTA site and the World Finals tab does nothing, Thats Why I asked. Makes sense it might not work untill after Speed Week. If anybody knows for sure I'd be interested in hearing how t get entered.
Thanks,
Larry

FREUD, Not a Problem!
I just want to be sure I'm good to Go.
Missing Speedweek is bad enough.
If the weathers good for the World Finals My Bike should really like it.
Any info appreciated.

Turns out this is a good question-- the 'World finals' link on the main SCTA-BNI page (under Bonneville) seems to do nothing.  Google failed to bring up the page with a basic query or two.

Guess I'll have to call Monday...

I got a call from the office late last week and they were about to have a board meeting after which Pre-entry would be available.  I just sent mine in.  It's on the front page of http://scta-bni.org/ now.
