Window Net
« on: August 02, 2013, 01:36:51 PM »
I just leafed through my 2012 copy of the rule book but couldn't find the section on window nets-- I know it is in there somewhere.

My question is-- I know a net is required on the driver's side but is a net also required on the passenger's side opening?

The way I understand it a net is required to keep your limbs inside the cage irrespective of doors, body etc. If you legs or arms can get outside of the bar structure you need a net. Mind you I haven't been an inspector for three years so take it for what its worth.
Unless it's crazy, ambitious and delusional, it's not worth our time!
