« on: July 28, 2013, 09:22:09 PM »
We raced in 2008 inV4/VGCC, our roll cage is 1 1/2", now it looks like we need to have 1 5/8"?  Please answer, we about ready to load up to go.

I don't think so. Book specifies G,H,I,J, &K only need 1-1/2", and those records are often faster than V4.Call Doug Robinson tomorrow-I THINK he'll say you're ok with the 1-1/2".
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

PM sent. Didn't want to post it here, as the spam bots have fun with that stuff!

Isn't the cage material spec dependent on the standing class record?
If under 175, the 1-1/2" should be legal.

clarification only in G-K classes.

Maybe should be addressed at rules time.
