Danny Thompson "columnist" at Racer! Magazine
« on: July 11, 2013, 12:33:04 PM »
Some may know Danny Thompson has had a long-running dream of bringing back Dad Mickey's 1960's era streamliner. He's been hard at it for a few years and recently was asked to supply Racer! Magazine with updates. Check it out at:

Great!
The one installment I read so far (bottom one on the page) might inspire me to shift gears now and get my old EDM mill working...

If you would like to keep up with what Danny is doing with his streamliner go to TOMPSONLSR.com, which is Danny's news and build site, to see his progress. The latest pics of the front wheel drive components are pretty impressive.

You've made a minor spelling error, Rex.  I just checked - and the site URL is www.thompsonlsr.com.  Note that there's an "H" in Thompson.  Sorry to be picky, but why not - if it helps others here find the site.  Thanks for the tip to go look at it.  Interesting and good to see what he's doing.

Thanks Slim, spelling was never a strong point for me! and it does get people to the right web site.

Sparke, yes Danny does use a shaft between the engines to keep them in sync.
