Hi folks,
I am not sure whether the fuel valve has to close automatically in the case of emergency or am I clear with the rule as far I am able to close the the fuel valve without remove my hands from the handle bar?
Thank you in advance

Hi Christian,
If you are running gravity feed, than you just need the control operable from the handlebar.
SCTA 7.B.2.5
Pingel has a remote option for some of their fuel valves that has both thumb and lanyard
shut-off.

Or fabbing something similar up yourself, it's basically a cable and a lever.

Hi Dave,
Thank you, that sounds quite simple. You gave me exactly the answer that I hoped to get
An lanyard shutoff would be much more complicated.

Tiny,
great idea! I will make something similar with the existing petcock.
Saves money and works too.
