« on: July 10, 2013, 04:16:03 PM »
I run the 175cc A/G class, We are working on a new motor and are considering running the fuel class. I was looking in the record book and there is no listing for the 175cc A/F class. What to do??

Run 120 MPH and you'll have the record.

Take a look at the El Mirage minimums on the SCTA site.

Records at El Mirage with no listing have a minimum. These are found in the back on the latest edition of the El Mirage Procedure Manual. Your club rep should have given each member a copy before the season started. The manual is also available at the reg trailer. It is very important that you have a copy as some EM rules are changed each year, witness the points criteria this year.

Before relying on the minimums as listed remember that there have been two events this year. Check the SCTA website for updates.

Classes with no record listed for Bonneville are open to any two run average.

120 is the bike min. listed that I found.
Just reg your bike under the new class, note the change in your logbook as well, inspect and race!
Looking forward to seeing her run, best of luck to ya
