Window Net Latch
« on: June 30, 2013, 08:28:28 PM »
Question:

I have to move my current window net latch it is mounted on the outside plane of the cage. Is there a rule or good reason why the button faces to the outside. Seems it might be easier for me to release with my gloves on if the button faces in versus facing out. I looked and may have over looked but I could not find anything specific to the way the latch faces.

Can I get some of your ideas on facing in/out or your preference?

Thanks,

BR

Face in.  Looks like yours faces out simply because there wouldn't be enough clearance for it to latch if it were facing in.

Bob,

Correct that is the way it was when I bought the car. Not sure why they welded it there.

Thank you,
