Sid Biberman RIP
« on: June 23, 2013, 08:47:55 AM »
I have just found out that Sid Biberman, Vincent Owner and racer along with his son Mathew, passed last night at 0330 from a massive heart attack whilst in hospital.

Sid's bikes raced at the ECTA meets and also at Bonneville.
He was also well known throughout the Vincent community.

RIP Sid

I got to meet Big Sid and Matthew at the ECTA events. Big Sid will be sorely missed!

Stainless,
Can you let Max know?
I knew he and Sid bashed heads a few times, but I'm sure he would want to know

Thanks
Neil

Sid had a life long dream of racing at Bonneville.  A few years ago he made it to BUB.  He had heart problems then and I do not think that he rode.  He watched his team ride and he got a lot of enjoyment from that.  We met him and he was a nice and humble fellow.  Our best wishes go to him and his family.

Max already knew, he was on the phone with Sid just before he passed... friends often bash heads for fun....
