The only race fuel I remember for 2-strokes, specifically, is Sunoco GP2R.  There are a number of fuels for both two and four stroke engines.  The gasolines blended for go-karts are interesting.

The race gas manufacturers websites have a lot of info.  "Race Gas WA" out of Western Australia is good.  What I learned was that fuel, like cams and everything else, needs to have the right properties to make everything work at its optimum.  There is no substitute for asking the experts at the fuel companies.

Makr,
I just read all 13 pages of your build in 2-stroke world, WOW.

Some how my hammer, jigsaw and file seem a little inadequate now.

Very nice job is an understatement.

I wish you the best at Bubs, Don

Thank you for the compliments! I am reshaping the seat to clear the radiators right now. I should show you pictures of that mess to give a contrast of what a hacker I am at some things.haha

could you please go roll up that piece of blacktop and send it over, :-D

Fed-ex work?

I will have to do some research. Sounds interesting. May help me in the fuel class, but I still have (get?) to run what is there for the gas class.

paid for?
we have to pay for stuff. Ahh flip.

Can't wait. Been to the shop and got our suncream and new shades. New memory card for the camera. Now to rub some browning on the old pasty pale english legs so we dont dazzle all the participants. Mind you with the current English summer it will all wash off with the rain faster than we can get it on.

not long now.....................

Neil, come by and say hello if you are there.  Its the red pickup and red trailer with the aluminum covered triumph bonneville and the slightly confused rider.

unfortunateley my to do list only goes as far as
pack clothes.
pack passport.
pack camera (and lots of memory)
get off plane and drive to big flat white stuff.
Enjoy.

Maybe another year my to do list will involve "pack bike" as well. :-D

John

Actually, I must pack an umbrella/sunbrella this year to help out with some shade for all of you when waiting in line.

Payment in beer!!! FANTASTIC.
I knew if I worked hard enough my dream job would come along.

I'll be the one with what resembles two sticks of spaghetti sticking out the bottom of my shorts and a big old umbrella.
Tiger Cub eh? I kept drifting over to one of those at the VMCC Wst Kent International Run this weekend in Kent, sunny (for a change) England.
The wife said "no!" though. Apparently I have enough bikes already. Just wait until she starts looking at shoes!

Comet..............loose-fitting shorts have been known to contribute to sun-burns reflected from the salt............beware :-D

I have now passed the point of buying a nicely restored '68 T120 by investing in a Cub that has yet to get over 90mph..........but we are hopeful :-) :-)

Six days to go, and I already can`t sleep thinking about going thru the gears, the bike dancing around, the howl of the wind and the cold refreshments with friends scheming on where to find horsepower where there is none to be had.

We will have the "Hayes Park Laundry Racing" team shirts on with sunburned faces, come by and say Hello!
I thought I would die young, but now its too late.
