I bought a -20 when I only needed a -15.  Later needed it.  Kinda like having too much fire system.

Jack, here I go again (my annual FIRE SAFETY rant).
Listen ALL OF YOU:  We are the only sport in the World where weight is our friend.
Never buy anything less than a SFI 20 suit.  If you are on fire at ANY speed it MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE!
As far as fire extinguishers, use as much as you can afford (what is your life worth)?
Keep in mind that our (excelant) Safety Crew will allways do their best to save your ass. but first they have to SEE THE FIRE AND THEN CHASE YOU DOWN.
I currently have twenty lbs. for the engine plus 15 lbs. for the driver, and I plan on installing the 15 lbs. I carry as spares.
If you think this is overkill, read up on how long a SFI 5, SFI-15, and SFI 20 suits are good for.
If you are on your lid at 200+, what is your life worth?
I have had friends die from burns and it is a Horrible way to go.            Bob Drury

Hi there,

Are you still after a SFI-20 firesuit? I have a Stroud SFI-20 firesuit that is a year old with 4 years left on the tag for sale for $1000 shipped UPS. It's black with red stripes on the arms, will fit 5'8 to 5'10 about 180lbs comfortably?

I'm a regular over on the drag racing forums such as InsideTopAlcohol and ClassicFunnyCar. I'm a nostalgia fuel altered racer and understand what it means to have a good suit! I'm selling this one because I got a sponsor for a new suit of their own brand.

Let me know if you're still after one, and I can send photos!

Many thanks
