See you fine folks in a few weeks. Fingers crossed for some 175+ runs.

Been battling my biannual head/chest/sinus cold thing for about a week so I haven't felt like posting any thing let alone work on the car. I think I have finally died so I can get on with thing. Big thanks to Steve Ashworth Race Engines for the use of the chassis dyno. Me and Mike Matyjasik strapped Amy camaro and let the dust fly. When it was all said and done we had 424hp and 402 lb-ft to the rear wheels. With 27" tires and 308 gear in the gen 3 bod this should get the girls to our current goal of 175mph and their "B" licenses.

Top is this year. Bottom is last. Seems every time we go up there we gain 100 hp.....

Awesome Frank! I don't know much about a dyno, but the curves look the same. There's just a lot more of it this year!

Frank-

Those numbers should definitely get them around 175. IIRC, we went mid-160s at Maxton
with less power and aero than you have now. Can't wait for a couple of B licenses!!!

Wow, I wish I had a dyno graph like that.  That car should move.

About 1000 RPM where it doesn't drop below 400 - That's impressive, Frank, and the improvements over the last go, even more so.

While you're shooting for those B licenses, you might as well fill out the paperwork for pilot's licenses!

Hit the drag strip last night for some shake down runs and to run the new brakes in. Everything went well, Man that motor pulls. Big thanks to Mike Matyjasik and Angela Brenner for the motor. It is the "old" 383 out of their Time Bomb camaro. Sure got some funny looks from folks at the track. I had to explain that the car ain't quick... It's FAST! The local constabulary froun on my texting on the local roads :x :-D

They always will . . .

Curious as to what kind of speed Amy saw at the end of the quarter?

Chris, we averaged about 100 mph in the 1/4. didn't launch it hard just rolled out then on it for setting the new brakes and checking for issues.
