Sparky, I agree the girdle would be the ideal place to mount these.

The plan at the moment, is to drill through the girdle, and install the nozzles on the inside of the girdle. The 'header' system will be on the outside of the engine, so that we don't have all the oil lines inside of the engine to contend with.

We have the Ford nozzles, and will experiment with those and the .020 mig nozzles.

Thanks guys!
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

If you want some extra confusion, VW uses "oil squirters" on many of their turbo engines.  There are 2 main styles, the early 1.6 TurboDiesel squirters, which require 2 holes (1 for mounting, 1 for oil flow), and the later 1.8Turbo gasser engines, which use a banjo bolt for attachment and oil flow.

All of them are designed with internal spring loaded check valve / popoffs.  They will not squirt below a certain oil pressure.
