Just for the sake of keeping the thread on track (sorta) I tried to correct Junior's spelling of the brand of the car.  I think I'm getting close now - but let me know if I still have it wrong.  Thanks.

Hey, I was trying to be a little bit diplomatic.  So just now I went back to Junior's post and made all of the corrections.  Let's see if they migrate through to this post.

I am curious why this car is red and not the iconic candy blue of the other family racecars?

(I know even the willys's were several different hues but the candy blue that was on the Tbird sticks in my mind as a "Cook" color")

The car is red because they were built in Italy and thats the color that was on the car when we, well Rich, sold it to him. They added more flames than we had.

My favorite car to work on. Ranks right there with the Waters-Manghelli-Romero roadster.

Dan, does that car (the Alfalfa) run a straight axle with suspension and if so is it torsion bar or springs?  Thanx, Bob

Straight axle, no shocks, coil overs in the rear if I remember correctly.

I wouldn't think you'd like it, Bob.  It would get boring, making run after run.
