How do you know they're not 775s or 800s?

My point is the whole event gas thing is to keep people from running questionable gas in a gas class. The downside is that people like you no offence run in the fuel class and for someone who runs fuel i dont like the way it is setup. It is like don want to pay for event gas run in fuel which takes away from us the people who a tually made the chioce and spent the time to run fuel.

If you can't run faster with real fuel than someone who's running gas maybe you're playing in the wrong sandbox.

If you got to enter a different class because you can't beat people in your correct class, your are the wrong sport.

In this case, I wouldn't think it would matter.  When you are boosted, just turn it up more.  BTW, the fastest boosted bikes in the world are not bored or stroked ones.  You need as much "meat" as you can get in the cases.

The point is a valid one gsx-rboy750.  A lot of work goes into running E-85 as compared to running a non-event gas just to be in the fuel class.

I guess that's why the 1350s never run faster than the 750s.

"When you are boosted, just turn it up more."

So you can just dial in the speed you want -- add 20, 30 100 MPH?

Even methanol. All these people say how much faster someone on fuel goes with little to no experience.

Maybe you are missing the point. I had the record for my class and currently own the bike with the record. My point is your running fuel great fuel class. You are running gas get in the gas class.

I love how easy it is run fuel and turn up the boost. OK lost my respect

Guy's, Stan has had heartburn over the ECTA Records for a long time, the fact that at the last meet Turk declared there wouldn't even be an impound furthers the suspicion that all ECTA Records are worth less than the paper they're printed on. So the discussion of running Gas in Fuel will not get you any sympathy.

Gas is a fuel and should therefore be legal. On the other hand most other fuels aren't gas. Pretty simple!

Not all gas is the same. If you can't control the gasoline classes you could drop 50% of the classes.

That's true.

But when the vehicles are never even basically certified to start with, what's the problem?

"Stan has had heartburn over the ECTA Records for a long time."

Let me tell you why.  And see if you'd feel any different.

Twice I got my Bonneville record taken away by two different ECTA competitors.  Their cars did not meet class standards at SpeedWeek, so rather than comply, they both came to the same conclusion in different years  --  run at a non-SCTA meet where the scrutiny is not so great.  Not many (or any) competitors there.  Leave the vehicles the same and not get caught.

Well, thanks to this wonderful internet thing, this series of tubes, pictures floated along with their plain-to-see sins.  It's still very hard to undo a record (and a Club membership), but we got it done twice.  We're not competitive anymore, so it's water under the bridge, now.

Would you feel any different about this kind of competitors' integrity?
