Thanks Hooley, yes we were pumped about that run, didn't think it would happen with the crazy weather.Been working so hard on the car, and it's finally delivered. 2 200mph club hats in 6 passes with this new combo. Not too shabbby, but we've been racing for 6 years.

Just happened to remember this pic I took Saturday morning.
I was at the starting line right after runs started when I noticed this helicopter that I assume had a GoPro camera on it.
You can see it above the yellow bike in the red elipse.
I would like to know more about who was running it and see the video they got.
Anyone know anything about it?

it is a good thing that helicopter didn't fall on the track in front of somebody
making a pass.

Should have said in my previous post that the helicopter was flying behind the starting line and not above the race course.

I saw a couple of guys flying that out of a race trailer on pit road. Couldn't tell if it had a camera on it, though...

Ronnie, congrats on the record and wow what a wild ride. I was telling Sparky about the video last night. He was curious as to how a lakster on pavement wouldve spun out like that. As I said to him Im guessing something mechanical because everything looked fine in the video and then all of a sudden we were all going on Mr Toads Wild ride with ya LOL. Glad everything turned out for the best and you were able to run again. Thanks for sharing the video!

I posted a question on Facebook about the Heli. Noone responded and the ECTA person incharge must have deleted it.
