He used to run GT a few years back - picture stolen from Rchop

Windshield, headlights, and I think SCTA required him to whip up a top, or some such issue he encountered at Bonneville.  Looks MS these days, but as clean and tasteful an execution as any car on the track.

He's definitely found a home with ECTA.

Looks like you have a great day today - get your runs in - tomorrow looks less inviting.

Here is my photobucket link of bikes and cars in the staging lanes and starting line in Wilmington today.....I hope you enjoy!

Weather has been exceptional all day and have had many really good runs by both bikes and cars.
Had a couple of incidents this morning but what I heard were they were not major.

Met quite a few folks including Woody who will post his pics later today.

Looks like the weather is going to change tonight so we'll have to see what tomorrow brings.

Chris, I think you are correct on MS for Gerald's car. To me, it looks SO much better in this configuration:

As I posted earlier, the weather is supposed to be changing tonight so we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Cool – the Calaguiro team made the trip.  Something about the whole “ute” thing , hey, Gregg?

You are right about the "ute" thing.  :-D  It's been really fun to watch the speed gains over the years for the Calaguiro team.

As for the Caddy, every time I see Sean I tell him that car is so cool but so wrong!   :-D
Truthfully though, that Cad is "BAD A$$"!  :-o

Glad you could see those pics. I still don't understand why you couldn't see the ones from yesterday.

Gerald's issue at the salt was that there is a J engine class for GT, NO J engine class for MS.

The SCTA-BNI rulebook lists at the end of the class rules which engine classes are available.

It's 7:00 AM and looking out of the hotel window, there is a lot of liquid precipitation falling from the sky.
No pics from me today as I'm headed back to NC.....8 1/2 drive.  :-(
If there is racing today, hopefully Woody can post updates and pics as he is only 35 miles away.  :-D
All in all, a pretty good weekend!

I hope it dries up enough for everyone to run today!
