First join the Ecta and pay the dues. Then you can discuss rules and procedures. Offer constructive ideas to the rules committee.
This is done at the end of the season, So it can be augmented into the following years rule book.

If someone is suspected of using a motor larger than the class they are regestered in we have a way of dealing with it.
The certification of engines and sealing of tanks is only as good as the integrity of each racer. People will cheat if they want. Energy and resorses are better spent on safety for now.

I agree the fuel and gas class rules need a little work. I personally use nitrous. It does not matter whats in someones tank.  I am going to crush any record that does not use nitrous except maybe nitro methane.

To me gas class is a tank full of gasoline. And fuel class is alcohol nitro and nitrous.

We have a new track and a new record book. There are no records. Everyone is setting records not breaking records.

"The certification of engines . . . is only as good as the integrity of each racer."

And who's doing that?

Methinks you're drinking the Kool-Aide.

explain how someone from one group can take a record from someone in a differant group. Oh never mind. Who cares anyway. I have integrity and confidant in my masculinity. :-D

No Sir, schedules, MONEY are killing the racing this year. September is our goal. We hope to see you then.

I know the feeling.....happened to me last year.
I'm planning to be there in September with my truck but I'm about 2-3 months behind where I wanted to be at this time.
If the truck is not ready, I'm heading out to WoS at Bonneville to see/help Steve with his truck.

I fail to see what is so hard about setting up to run in the fuel class.  My 600 made some of its fastest runs on 87 octane pump gass.  I chose to run that at the time because I set the bike up for it.  I also ran MR-9, Rocket fuel and alcohol that season.  Good notes, multiple fuel and ignition maps and a few other changes and we were good.  Event gas at that time was rocket fuel.  I don't see the big deal.  No matter what you run in the fuel class, if you go up against the NOS bottle you loose.
