The speed that you wish to achieve is only limited by the depth of your wallet.

Bill Hoddinott will be one of the inductees. Anyone who reads Bonneville Racing News has enjoyed his articles and interviews over the years. Wish I could be there.

Corngratulations to all of the 2013 inductees.  Funny -- Nancy and I are sorta new to LSR, having been on the salt since 2001.  But - we know a big bunch of this year's folks -- Cathy and Van Butler, Bill Hoddinott, Wes Potter and Ellen Wilkinson, Sonny and Dixie Rossi (who haven't been out there for a handful of years), Rick Yacoucci, even Wayne Jesel (whom I suspect will be there to represent Jesel as the manufacturer of the year, and Ron Main and George Poteet - there for the Speed Demon.

Yep -- land speed racing is a family affair.  Best wishes to all of you.

PS  The pea soup is bland and thin -- unless, I suppose, you spend big bucks to get some additives.  We got plain - and it sure was.

It was a fun day. Weather E X C E L L E N T.

Spring time didn't harm the attendance in the least.

I would hope that all of you had it on your Bucket List.

Al Teague kept everyones attention for a long time as he turned public speaker.

I was assisted by Rat the Rat and he was marvelous as was his Camaro.

It was his first road trip in it.

I'm a little behind (as usual) but here are some photos.

Wes Potter,
Gary and Ellen Wilkinson,
Freud and one of the plaques,
and yes, my Camaro.   :-D

It was the first time for me at the Gas Up and it was great.  I really enjoyed it.
Something totally expected was meeting Pat Ganahl, author of about a million different car books and seeing his gorgeous Deuce roadster.
