Leo Dempsey a staple of Jack's Garage and partner of Dempsey/Burkhart roadster of the 1950's passed away today. The Dempsey/Burkhart team was definately a "player" in the old days of LSR with their Blown Fuel Roadster. Leo worked in a Ford dealership in the 40'-50's, then moved to the Los Angeles Fire Department and was on the the fireboats in LA Harbor for most of his career. His high school sweetheart and wife Donna recently passed..............We will all miss him.
