I have a pretty good imagination but i have a hard time seeing this work for you unless you are building a trike.

What is the ring and pinion ratio?

Does crown wheel = ring gear?

Crown wheel and pinion
9:31   “3.4444”

On a separate note, I don't think we've spent 15k on our entire race program over the last decade.  I'm sure these trannies may be well worth the asking price.  I'm just making a comparison.

Let me make a useful contribution to the thread: what are these trannies rated to for tq/hp?

I do have 3.44:1 rear end ratios but i think i may have a different ratio available in one of the assembled boxes. When i take them apart i will update the list.

These are rated at 500ft lbs.  At this power they will complete a race weekend before needing inspection and minor maintnance. This includes hundreds of WOT shifts over 500-600 miles.  When speaking with an engineer at Emco and asking about torque ratings he said they are kind of useless when applied to other conditions and said a similar transaxle to the 215 made by Emco was rated at 500ft lbs as well but was used in the 24hour vipers without reliability issues.  I think you would run out of gear before hitting the torque limit of this trans on the salt.

It is an expensive transaxle($35-40k new) but at the same time it does have features that make it a good value to some people.
