Number of engines change (motorcycle)
« on: March 12, 2013, 09:59:06 PM »
I am just curious to the reason for the change in the 3000+ class from no more than 2 to no more than 4. Thanks

Seems to me if they're going to allow 4 motors, they should just eliminate the limitation altogether.  Why not 5 or 6 or 8 so that 8pack can build one like that?  To what purpose is a rule if you can get it changed to suit the builder?

There's a You Tube video of it running somewhere. They move pretty quickly roping over all 24!

I will have my hands full trying to keep 2 engines together and making sure my project is complete by Speedweek. So I think I will just stick with 2 for now.

Hi Sam,
The other side is in progress and I do not have any pictures but I think I know what you are asking. Do you have a snail on your bike? YES. It is a GT4088R twin scroll with an air to water intercooler. It will be in the Unlimited class (both engines are over 100ci)

If my calculations are correct. I think I gave you a 442ci advantage last time :-o Thats not going to happen this time. I am thinking about only giving you a 2xx ci advantage. Just say-in
