Hey- more pipe don't hurt-even if it's redundant. The perimeter halo and windshield bars serve as a better gusset than anything else below them....and if it keeps the critics away in tech :-)

Hmmmmm..... I am pretty sure that you are going to get tagged on your lack of 1/8" thick plate gussets at the tube junctions..... cuz - you know - they are a lot stronger than what you have there ..... (yeah, right!)

FM  I though the same thing but I think that was covered in Chas. V's build---tube  now is accepted as gussets

See 3.B.1  page  27 --- "Gussets shall either be made of plate, tubing, or fabricated of sheet."
