Gassin' up...
« on: February 19, 2013, 10:43:49 AM »
Hey, everyone:

I'll be making my maiden LSR voyage at Wilmington in April (running in F/PRO). I understand that I can either use event gas or bring gas in a sealed container, but what's the procedure for emptying the tank? I'll be driving the car to the track, so can I just run the tank down as close to "E" as possible, or do I actually have to drain it, and where is that generally done--in the pits?

Also, will 93 pump gas be available, or is 100 as low as it goes?

And since I'm here, one more question. Does ECTA require that some kind of tarp be put down in the pits (like SCTA does on the salt)?

Thanks...

Gary
