Sounds like you closed out all of the "Tech Information" subsets.  Look where it says Tech Information and click on the "+" sign.

Thanks guys! I just now discovered that each "block" of forums can be separately enabled (I never claimed to know what I'm doin'...). Somehow(?) my 'Tech' forums had gotten disabled; all good now.

As I sat down to browse these forums tonight, the 'Tech' section was again closed. Anybody know how I set the defaults so the 'Tech' forum will always be 'ON'?

You've got me stumped, Jack.  The"default" - as far as I know - is whatever it was when you last closed out the program.  Mine never change 'til I do it on purpose.  Do you shut down your computer every night?  I mean - turn it off, not just let it go to sleep?  Do you exit your web browser program (IE or Firefox or whatever) each time?  If that's the case -- maybe you do have some resetting of defaults to do.  But -- it never changes for me.  I use Firefox.  Maybe Bob will chime in here again., and he knows everything.  Right, Bob?

Thanks for looking, Slim. Our web browser (Internet Explorer) is exited, and the computer 'put to sleep' every night; beyond that, I know next to nothing about this thing! For whatever reason, the 'Tech' section was 'ON' when I logged in tonight . In any case, it's no big deal.
