I got one of the DVD's at the LA Roadster show earlier this year. Just watched it and it's pretty good! Lot's of LA racing history and land speed, too!

Harold Osmer who did the film with Harry Palenberg helped me with an outside bar top for Joanie's birthday last July. Great craftsmanship in wood - something my Dad and I fear.

Not just a film, Harold is a respected published author with several books of the same name who spent scads of time hunting down details on long-gone tracks in the Southern California.

I strongly urge anyone with an interest in the SoCal motorsports scent to get ahold of anything he did. Always entertaining.

Harold and I share the distinction of being honored by the Society of Automotive Historians for our respective bits of scribbling through the years.
