I want to make it to the April meet.  How many runs can I hope to get in over the weekend?

I had 3 or 4 runs at Ohio mile #1 last April.  with no 1 holding a place in line for me.( which is a no no ) -it was very bad weather, also.

succeeding meets I got 7 or 8 runs.

bf

I wasn't there at the crack of dawn, either.
bringing up the tail end of the line.
and that was my fault.

you will have fun, 1 way or the other.

Well I had my surgery Tuesday and with the double doeses od Percocet and valium I can say I am feeling great hardly anypain. But I cannot turn wrenches yet. tomorrow I go to my first physical theropy session so I should be able to evaluate things better after that. I can surely say my typing has been affected though :-D All I can say Is I cannot wait !!!!!!!

april 2012 meet, 2 runs on day 1, between the rain, 3 the following day.

sept 2012, 4 runs on day 1 , 4 runs on day 2

in april we did tech on friday around 10am. got in line around 10am on sat, and 8 am on sunday

in sept we also did tech friday afternoon, got there at 0 dark 30 day 1 and 2.

now dont get me wrong we are there to make runs, but the time in the staging lanes are just as great. the racers, crews, spectators, are just awsome! made a bunch of new friends, re-met some old ones. we keep my truck in the lanes, keep the generator running, cook lunch, charge batteries, keep nitouse bottles warm. and have a cooler with soft drinks for anyone.

yup cant wait
who would have guessed it would take so long to go so fast for such a short time?

Thanks guys, six or eight runs sounds great.  The tailgate party sounds good too.

The April Meet is the Hot Rod Shootout.  It is well attended and will fill out with 175 entries.   ECTA runs a great event and keeps the line moving.  They get 40 runs in an hour which is not easy to do.   Remember to make the Rookie orientation on Friday afternoon or you will have to wait until noon Saturday.
