El Mirage research

I am trying to find info on Ken Rowe, Gear Grinder?

Ken and his racing partners set several records at El Mirage in the 80s, and were season champs in that period. I am trying to find out what car they used. I do remember a Fiat coupe at one time but, that may not be the car used for the records that still stand.

Anyone remember? Glen?
