Help me with my aero writeup.
« on: January 31, 2013, 05:56:58 PM »
I was a WOS last summer, first time on the salt. Normally I road race in LeMons but it looks like I may be scheduling a trip to Bonneville for at least the next couple of summers.

Yea, that was off topic, but it is a set up. Contemplating and then running at Bonneville has gotten me interested in aero and other issues that limit top speed. Admittedly, with 100 whp top speed will not be impressive (117 mph), but for me it's about the fun and the especially the learning. So I found a flow visualization program online and tried it out. Then I read for days to try to learn how to interpret what that program was showing me. The result is an article I am writing for our newsletter, but being a total noob and so far self taught, I'd really like to find someone knowledgeable in such things who would be willing to look it over to correct me where I get off track.

The link to the article is below.

Many thanks.

Mike, quick glance - not too bad for a noob!

I will review it in more detail and PM you a couple of caveats.
