To be honest with you, you would need to contact him on that.
Tomorrow night 1/2/2012 is the USFRA meeting at Totems, will you be there?
As far as my dealings with Mike, I met him through another racer with the USFRA by the name of Gary Lewis, who runs a 500 CC two stroke Suzuki.
Mike is very honest and a very pleasant. When I first purchased the car, I took the engine a 1000 CC Arctic Cat Thunder Cat to him and had him Dyno it, and to advise me what we needed to do, etc. I told Mike that I did not have a lot of knowledge with snowmobile engines, two strokes in general, but did not want to get sold a jar of hot air that promised me 200 HP. He did some very minor modifications, and he increased the HP from 140 to 185, so I was very pleased with this and we eventually turned a top speed of 135 and some change running on a 142 record, and he was very reasonable on the priceand true to his word, he advised me what to do, what I needed to do to get more HP, etc.
For 2013, we are doing an engine change, and he has been right there with me advising me of what to get, and what not to purchase or what works and what does not.
Mike indicated to me that he has over 40 years of experience. He also used to drag race snowmobiles and was very good at it. So not only does he know how to make the engines run, he was also a racer, so tried and true experiences.
I see that you are in SLC? His shop is in Mtn Green,
Hope this helps, and makes sense
Let me know if you need anything else
See you on the salt,
Clay
