A friend is restoring a1932 Duesenberg. Needs hood beltline trim. Contour is different one end to the other. Shown is finished trim and fixture to hold it thru it's own mounting holes.

Hard to believe factory machining is this far off.

And this is coming from somebody who used to own an Austin Healy Sprite!

Goofy me!  Now I've got it -- I set this up to be a read-only Forum page, and administrators and such can post to that kind of page.  That's why Stainless and MM and I see regular-appearing pages and youse guys don't.

I'm at the shop and the password (so I can get in and re-do the settings) is at home.  Later, okay?

Sorry for the cornfusion.

Thanks Jon- I have also been unable to post here. I wanted to thank and give many Kudos to Podunk for working with me on my shifter issue. He has posted some great looking photos of carving the arm from a big solid chunk of 4130 steel. I had previously had 2 stock shifter arms break with as few as 3-4 runs on them, Mfg was pretty clueless as to cause but very good with replacements for free. They are relegated to emergency spares. The one made here worked flawlessly at the recent speedweek making 15 runs. Great work!! Thanks!!!

All this time, I thought I was the only one singing Terry's praises.

The guy's great, and he "gets it".
