I take the time in order to educate myself. It amazes me how others think.

What's dwelling on something I typed got anything to do with what Dan directed to me?
I only hope your manners catch up to your education process in 2013.
We can keep this up until SSL says nuff boys, I'll accept your apology. Dan and probably everyone else knew I was kidding around about disguising the ci. of an engine and following Keith to gate. I do have three cars that would run 25 to 45 mph faster than the ride I decided to run. There is a long story about what brought me to Maxton that most everyone is aware of but I doubt you will read this far!!

I have read of your journey and commend you for you courage. I am done with this topic. Communication on a internet site loses something in interface skills.

Since we are talking unlimited amounts of money.

Lets pretend I hit it rich from one of those 300 million dollar lottery things.  How about a Land speed racing community?

I would purchase a giant piece of land somewhere.  Put 500 houses with from one to six car garages. All set on a lake with a five miles of two lane runway down the middle? There could be a community dyno and wind tunnel. They would be condos so the fees would cover all sorts of things like ambulance service during testing. And grass cutting. Oil disposal. Make it all green and get tax breaks. I duno.

There could be a 1/4 mile track for fun on one side. And a road course to set the houses around.

There would have to be all sort of annoying rules and community association crap that would piss me off.

But what the heck! There would be a dedicated land speed racing venue .Test and tune for Bonneville all year long. With five miles of runway. Have it all set up for TV cameras and safety runoffs.
Design the whole thing for efficient turn around and hold races for everyone every other month.

The sale of the houses would pay for the construction. And with a built in shopping mall full of speed shops and machinist. It would become a mecca for go fast things.

I would like to fantapply for the resident managers position and live in the first house at the entrance near the five mile starting line. First rule you are blackballed and have to moveout if you takeout any lights or speed traps, seems as if I have heard that somewhere before!

'69 Rocket 3, A frame, open, turbo.

All in the future, have some unfinished business, both life stuff and LSR, to take care of before I start any new projects.
