Too soon for thinking about a next build-- I have to finish this one first!   :-P

Regards, Neil  Tucson, AZ

I'm right there with you on finishing my first one! I've made numerous sketches and started procuring materials, but sometimes when I'm here at work and start daydreaming other ideas I might be able to use on my bike pop into my head :-)

For me money is no object . I don't have any.
My next build will be just like the one I have now with a cleaner riding position. Kinda going to start with a clean sheet. But six seasons of experience.
Eric, you sir are the epitome of devotion!

What happened with the Rubber Band powered Bville car?

Did Trojan pull out?
My doctor told me to go out and kill people.
Well, sort of.  He told me to reduce the stress in my life.

There was a steam powered car at the world finals but I don't think it ever made it to the lights, They were pitted right by us and and boiled a lot of water and made steam clouds bu they had many problems with it. They were a group of people from a steam club that was spread all over the country.

I’ve had a few ideas along these lines.  A ’27 turtle deck T roadster of some sort was one, but lately I’ve been thinking a production class monster of some sort, with a nod to the past.

The Carl Kiechafer NASCAR Chryslers of the mid 1950’s were incredible machines, and while it would be tough to take a record with one, I can think of few cars that would look more purposeful flying down the salt than a ’55 Chrysler 300.

Yeah, hard to believe - Chris talking about NASCAR in glowing terms.

A knock-off of Andy Granetelli’s 300-F could also be fun.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

I'm thinking something 3/4 liter class would be fun... maybe J/GL, J/BGL or maybe J/BFL... one of those little engine classes might be fun... kinda tired of working with big motors in the lakester...

A single cylinder engine bike.  Yes, yes, yes.  One piston.  A few rings.  A rod.  Maybe some valves.

Exactly what Joe Timney said. If I had the cash, though, I`d try valiantly to rescue our old Simca Comp Coupe from it`s Office Decoration status in Texas, and if that failed, I`d buy Bob Merickles`Metro and put a Turbo F motor in it and go 250..... :-D :-D :-D

A/BF streamliner! No doubt!
Don't have much money or time bit I'm doing it anyhow.  :-)
J Timney- you know if you did just a little something everyday, it would get done. I know, it's hard.

+1
Streamliner bike, just restarted a roster that will give me a bit more time.

Used to be on equal time (2weeks on, 2 weeks off) a couple years ago but things changed a it.
Now in a position that I can do a hybrid roster (1week office, 1 week field, 1 week office, 1 week off), gives me 1 week in 4 to build. :)

It is fun when you do little things everyday. Then all the sudden there is light at the end of the tunnel and something gets a accomplished. It is a good feeling.

My future build is to finish the lakester we have been building for more than 10 years. If anything left then build the '34 Buick 3 window coupe I have had for 40 years.

Bob's Metro IS way cool.  I've had the privilege of teching him into Impound on a number of occasions and it's way cool.  And then there's Seth Hammond's Lakester.....  Too many cool cars to count, none of them mine.  Oh well!

If time and money were no object? I'd probably just try to build another Burkland, only in green... :-)  But I would really like to build a '64 to '66 T-bird with as much motor as I could fit in there--I love those cars. Unfortunately, I currently have a teeny little garage, and my 300zx is even pushing it in there...
