GSXR 600 turbo bike project
« on: November 30, 2012, 12:40:49 AM »
1999 GSXR 600 turbocharged bike, 600 motor in 750 chassis,750 fuel injection set-up. Greg Watters built the turbo system. It propelled our 750 to 220 mph wih nearly stock bodywork. Motor was out of a running trackbike, APE studs, spacer plate under cylinder, APE valve springs,Cometic head gasket, Barnett HD clutch springs, APE adjustable timing gears, 750 intake cams on both intake and exhaust. Bike was started and run with 750 injection. Greg has nearly completed the installation of 2009 GSXR wiring harness, ECU, and assorted sensors so bike can be tuned with ECU Editor. Has late speed/dash as well. Garrett ball bearing turbo, water to air intercooler built into plenum. Tial wastegate, brand new, water tank for intercooler in til with electric pump.530 chain conversion.750 transmission.Tank has plate for external pump.Lots of work done, potential for some serious speed. Hate to sell, but trying to buy a house. 5000.00 or B.O. includes a spare motor and another parts motor of unknown quality I just got. 707 548-7906

This is pretty much all the turbo stuff we ran 220 with on the 750, then upgraded the 750 to bigger everything
custom Garrett gt25 turbo
stainless headers
ecu and harness conversion 95% complete, can help with advise on finising
same ecu setup the 750 went 238mph with this yr

over 200 would not be difficult with this bike
