Let me know when the deal is fully consummated and I'll disappear the topic.

actually I think old for sales should just have the title changed to add sold instead of eliminating unless you are up against a max size of the database... it serves as data point when buying or selling for price comparisons.

Hey, that sounds like yet another good idea from you, Most Revered Sir (which abbreviates as Mrs., but that's something else we'll talk about another time).  Anyway - I hadn't thought of the vale of keeping the old for sale posts.  Of course -- most of them don't list a final selling price and therefore would be of lesser value for comparisons, but I guess any $$ mentions would be of some help.  I know that many of the things I try to sell - - I don't have much of a clue where I should price it at the beginning.

So - boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, squirrels and moose -- what do you think?  If you don't tell me -- I won't be surprised.  More important things may be on your mind -- like maybe some Pepto-Bismol this evening.

Yes, I would like to see them kept for reference; what's for sale, how quickly sold, other leads, etc., etc.  Thx.

If anyone here missed out on this roadster, I believe Steve Weber still has his 34 Chev Roadster with a turbocharged Toyota for sale.
He lives in the Portland, Or. area and if you call Myself or Marlo, we can probably dig up his phone number...............  Bob

Slim. I dont know how much work it would be. But maybe condensing the posts down to the original listing and the selling price. Probly more work than just leaving the whole post. Stainless does have a good idea. Back when i was in the market for heavy equipment  i used to pick up books of old auction sail prices to use for comparisons at sales.

The payment has been received so it is a done deal.  It was Steves roadster.  I was handling the selling for him.   A little confusion on the location,  I am in Boring Oregon.   I couldnt figure how to change the profile.

Donn, you go back to your profile/registration page - which you can find by looking at the tabs that cross the page near the top, right under your name and avatar (if you've got one).  You'll find something like "change profile" or such - and in there is the location blank.  All you need to do is type in whatever you want for a location (by highlighting the existing one and typing your new one there) and then scroll down to save the changes.  That'll do it.

Or I'll change it for you -- maybe this time I'll put you in Exciting, Oregon .
