It does look a little high, but I already cut one coil off the springs.

Went to the local drag strip for some test and tune. We wanted to check out the freshened motor and boost pressure with new pulley combo. Had lots of fun explaining why the car had such a kick-ass roll cage and ran so slow. At least we put street tires on the back instead of Front Runners. Also had to explain where Bonneville was and why we put a flathead in a Fox body Mustang.

might mention if you try this you might want to check you brakes first.........there seemed to be a good bit of rust on the rotors and it didn't stop too good!

That must have been funny.
Slow at a drag strip.

Do you think the locals believed you about Bonneville?. :-D

That car is still the nicest looking Ford around.

threw together a website for $50 on Ipage hosting that shows three slideshows of Bonneville adventures and construction pictures of our three cars.

Checked the site.

Nice one. It may have cost $50 but the cars just have presence.

I admire your work big time.

Thanks.

Salt, thanks for sharing the link to your site. As one who still would like to build an RMR at some point ( even if it puts me in the doghouse with the wife ) I liked looking at the pics. WIsh I had a chance to look at your cars closer last year at SW. This year for sure

thanks for all the nice comments. Haven't been on here lately, had a stroke and while trying to figure out why discovered severe blockage, so had triple by-pass surgery two weeks ago. I am self-employed so I have not worked for almost a month. But, I feel great and expect a complete recovery SOON! The car has been ready to go since Christmas,so we're still full speed ahead for Speedweek 2014.

Well, pretty much have the car ready to go. Have new head gaskets coming from Flatout that I will match to my block and heads.
Small problem, I had another small stroke. A ulcer in/on my carodit artery was removed Sunday morning. Should be fine by Speedweek. Oh well....
