XF/BGALT 1985 Mustang
« on: November 04, 2012, 08:21:01 PM »
Started with a former bracket car that a friend had and a bunch of flathead parts and this is the result. Still working on it but it does move under it's own power.

I really like this. That motor looks great in the Mustang. It's very different and they say if it looks right it goes right. Excellent, looks like you're ready.

That little car is bitchin! Kinda funny how that ole flathead looks right at home in a car that was born 50 years after it's engine was!

Looking forward to see how this one turns out!

Very cool power choice. How much power are you making with your combo, and what class will the car be in?

What happened to Scrap Iron I? It looks to be a rear modified roadster?

We teamed up with the "Grim Reefer" guys (Arden Beale, Roy and David Angle) from Idaho. They are working on the car to have it compete at Speedweek this year with their motor. What I understand David is doing most of the work to get the car to fit him, he's much taller than me. David is a graduating senior in high school and recently won 1st Place state auto contest for high school students.

Is it my imagination or is your exhaust routed forward? I started
to think "Hmm, a couple of turbos compounding into the blower"
but I'm not sure a flattie would handle all that power. It would
sound pretty Dodge awesome!
