Wind Tunnel In/Near Salt Lake City?
« on: December 01, 2012, 12:28:16 PM »
Over the last couple of weeks, I've had 2 guys mention that they heard of a new wind tunnel in or near Salt Lake City.

Anyone know the details of this place, or have contact info?
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Buddy, I have asked Layne for an update and will post when I hear back! There were some issues surrounding the original announcement and we had to pull the original post! Stay tuned!

Thanks Woody!

Does your statement indicate that you are involved with the new wind tunnel?

38 flattie,

Last summer there was a guy who visited the USFRA meeting and he was going to have a wind tunnel built in Ogden. It seems it was around 12th street in Ogden? I am sorry but I do not have a contact name or number.

You may want to contact someone from the presidency of the USFRA or Monty Widdison, some one will know.

Sorry I don't have more information,

Hope this helps,
Clay
