I wonder if we will see a lot more cars at Bonneville based on the 1940 ford body?

Years ago I was considering building a hot rod.  The old car bodies around here are all rusty at best and usually rusty, dented, and have parts gone.  It so hard to sand down far enough to get the rust pits out and not thin the steel too much.  Lots of dent pounding and welding.  And then it would not look right.  And the work is not especially pleasant.  This nice new steel body like this does not seem to be that bad of a deal.

Yep,by the time someone get all of the other goodies to get it on the road.they could be polling down the road for under 30 grand. not bad at all, and no cutting and patching on road rot. unless thats your thing.
