I have a "latch lever" type 5-point SFI harness that I'd like to use.  I will be borrowing a set of arm restraints from a buddy.  Reading Section 3.D.2 has me a little confused.  It states that

"When arem restraints are worn with a belt system that utilizes a "latch lever" with a built-in latch lock, a protective cover shall be installed to prevent the arm restraint from accidentally releasing the latch lever, tape is not sufficient as protection"

Are there commercially available latch covers that I'm not aware of?  How have other competitors dealt with this requirement?

Thanks in advance.

OK - that make sense to me.  I was thinking in terms of some kind of hard cover, like a hinged plate or something.

The rule is also satisified by a duckbill lever.  You just need a lever that can't be snagged but you can still get it open
