Suggestions for steering boxes
« on: October 09, 2012, 01:12:00 AM »
Was looking at a 20:1 flaming river vega.

Any other suggestions before I pull the trigger"

Would like to have a higher ratio, but in truth not sure what I need.

I think Blue said that they were planning on 10x hundreds of MPH:
  20 for the 2,  30 for the 3s, 40 for the 4s ect ect

JNuts, if you want slower steering look at steering quickeners the circle track guys use.  Install it backwards and it will cut steering authority in half if you get a 2:1.
What type of steering are you using now, ratio, what type of suspension, how much bump steer, what type of problems are you having, do you think your steering is too fast.
